Best for

Eligible users who already understand stablecoins and want supported USD or EUR receipts and card spending in one interface, starting with the Free plan.

Start with Free unless you have a specific reason to pay for Pro. At US$500 of ordinary eligible monthly card spending, Pro's extra Points are worth US$7.50 under the favourable redemption option, less than its US$9.99 fee. At US$1,000, the uplift is US$16.25 before that fee. Currency conversion and the costlier full-refund redemption can reduce the value. Y5ZWZ is our invite code; the supplied invitation does not promise a fixed new-user bonus, and the temporary October Points campaign is a separate offer.

Pros

  • The standard personal account has no monthly Pulsar subscription fee
  • Supported USD or EUR spending from a balance in the same currency has no Pulsar FX fee
  • Eligible card spending earns Points on both Free and Pro
  • Points can refund part of an eligible completed card transaction in USDC
  • The official fee schedule lists supported SEPA and ACH transfers without a Pulsar fee, subject to the confirmation screen
  • The published Points table makes the Free-versus-Pro comparison calculable

Watch-outs

  • Pulsar is a software interface; the exact provider, asset and protection vary by feature
  • Pro costs US$9.99 monthly or US$99.99 annually, and ordinary rewards may not recover that cost
  • A full transaction refund costs 125 Points per US$1, versus 100 for a quarter or half refund
  • Card payments requiring a currency conversion carry a 1% Pulsar FX fee
  • The invitation does not verify a fixed invitee reward or its qualifying conditions
  • Four US App Store ratings are too few to establish reliable support or payment performance

What is behind the balances in the app?

Pulsar Money SRL is a Romanian company, identified in its terms by CUI 50067481 and a registered office in Sibiu. It develops the interface through which users access supported wallets, balances, cards, transfers and investment features. The company expressly says it is not a bank, payment institution, e-money institution, card issuer, crypto-asset service provider or custodian.

A displayed dollar or euro amount can represent a stablecoin, digital asset or provider-administered balance. It does not automatically establish a fiat bank deposit or one claim against Pulsar. Before a feature becomes available, its schedule and provider terms should identify the legal entity, underlying asset, network, fees, redemption route, control permissions and any protection. Check that actual disclosure rather than assuming every balance in the same app works the same way.

Three separate things that can appear in one app: a provider balance under that provider's contract, a wallet asset under its signing and recovery arrangements, and a vault position with its own liquidity and loss risks. A USD or EUR display label does not make them bank deposits.

Country support is a feature-by-feature check

The official supported-countries guide distinguishes card, SEPA and ACH availability by residence. A country appearing in a selector does not establish that every service is available there. Check your residence and the particular feature before signing up for account details or depositing money.

The launch description says users can receive supported dollar or euro payments and fund with supported stablecoins, and that card spending draws on supported balances without a separate card balance to top up. Actual access still depends on verification and the provider schedule. This page does not promise a physical card, universal ATM access or a bank account for every applicant simply because a fee table lists those services.

Free and Pro: the ordinary Points bands

The Points guide lists Free at five Points per US$10 on the first US$500 of eligible card spending, then 2.5 per US$10 up to US$100,000. Pro earns 20 per US$10 on the first US$1,000, five per US$10 on the next US$9,000 and 2.5 per US$10 in the US$10,000–100,000 band. These are tiered bands, not a 2% return on all spending.

At the favourable 100-Points-per-dollar redemption rate, those correspond to 0.5% then 0.25% on Free, and 2%, 0.5%, then 0.25% on Pro. Pro also advertises double Points at selected merchants, fee-free use of the Invest module, partner offers and a US$20,000 daily withdrawal limit versus US$2,000 on Free. None makes the plan automatically worthwhile: check whether you will use the benefit and whether the feature is available to you.

Points have different redemption values

A Points claim refunds an eligible transaction you have already made, and pays in USDC. Refunding 25% or 50% of that transaction costs 100 Points per US$1. Refunding 75% costs 112 per dollar, and refunding 100% costs 125. The minimum discount is US$0.50; a refunded transaction or one already claimed against is ineligible.

For example, 1,000 Points can fund US$10 under a quarter or half refund, if the selected transaction is large enough. The same 1,000 Points fund only US$8 under a full refund. You therefore need both enough Points and a suitable transaction; Points are not an automatic cash payout at a universal conversion rate. Pro's advertised 2% equivalent falls to 1.6% if all those Points are used at 125 per dollar.

At US$500 ordinary eligible spending, Free earns 250 Points and Pro 1,000. At 100 Points per dollar those are US$2.50 and US$10; the US$7.50 uplift is less than the US$9.99 monthly fee. At US$1,000, Free earns 375 Points and Pro 2,000: US$3.75 versus US$20, a US$6.26 net uplift after the monthly fee. Assumes no FX, merchant multipliers or temporary promotion.

Does Pro pay for itself? A worked comparison

Assume ordinary eligible monthly card purchases, no double-Points merchants, no promotion, no FX fees, and enough eligible transactions to redeem at 100 Points per dollar. At US$500, Free earns 250 Points (US$2.50) and Pro earns 1,000 (US$10). Paying US$9.99 for the US$7.50 uplift leaves you US$2.49 behind Free. At US$1,000, Free earns 375 Points (US$3.75) and Pro 2,000 (US$20): US$16.25 more, or US$6.26 after the monthly fee.

Between US$500 and US$1,000, the ordinary incremental value is 1.75% of spending minus US$1.25. That covers US$9.99 at about US$643 per month, rounded up to whole dollars. The annual US$99.99 price works out at about US$8.33 a month and lowers that comparison to about US$548, but commits you for a year. At full-refund redemption values, the US$1,000 monthly example's net advantage drops to US$3.01. These are comparison calculations, not promises of rewards or refunds.

Fees can outweigh the headline rewards

The current official table lists no Pulsar standard card transaction, declined transaction, small transaction or Apple Pay/Google Pay fee. A supported USD or EUR payment from a same-currency balance has no Pulsar FX charge, while a payment requiring conversion between balance and payment currency carries 1%. At US$1,000 equivalent of converted spending, that is US$10 before any outside costs.

Supported SEPA EUR and ACH USD deposits and withdrawals are listed without a Pulsar fee unless shown before confirmation. Crypto deposits and supported payouts also have no Pulsar fee; sender-side, exchange, network or provider charges may still apply, and sponsored network fees are only available on supported routes. The schedule lists ATM withdrawals free up to US$200 monthly then 2%, with outside ATM costs possible. Verify that your card actually supports the withdrawal route: a published price is not proof of access.

Y5ZWZ and October Pro are separate promotions

Our invitation instructs you to download Pulsar, create an account, scroll to "Have an invite code?", tap "Enter Code" and enter Y5ZWZ. It does not state a fixed invitee reward, a spend or deposit task, a deadline or payout timing. Confirm the code's acceptance and any dated campaign conditions inside the app before spending to qualify.

The separate October 2026 Pro article advertises doubled Points for eligible spending and a first subscription payment returned in Points for eligible new subscribers. It is a temporary, limited campaign, not a guaranteed cash welcome for Y5ZWZ; review its in-app limits and campaign terms. Disclosure: Y5ZWZ is our code and we may receive a referral benefit. The official fee guide describes promotional referrer rewards, including eligible referral volume and Pro subscription revenue; their conditions do not establish a reward payable to you.

Wallet control, Earn and withdrawing

Pulsar's terms distinguish user-linked wallets, provider-controlled balances, smart accounts and vault positions. Check who can sign or debit, what recovery is possible and what permissions you grant. Some blockchain actions may use a standing mandate or delegated signer; the permitted assets, contracts, amounts and duration should be disclosed. One app login does not make every underlying asset equally recoverable.

Earn is optional and is expressly described as neither a bank deposit nor a guaranteed savings product. Principal, yield and liquidity are not guaranteed, and no cover is included unless separate terms establish it for the exact position. Before holding more than you need for planned payments, test a supported withdrawal route with a small amount and account for fees, daily limits and settlement. Ask how to recover or withdraw remaining assets before closing the account.

Applying, upgrading and cancelling

Use the official download page, create your account, enter Y5ZWZ at the supplied invitation step and complete the checks required for your chosen services. Standard identity verification is listed as free. Confirm the country and provider disclosures before funding, then inspect the current card and Points eligibility screens.

If you upgrade, confirm the monthly or annual charge, renewal date and the live cancellation/refund conditions before paying. The Pro help page links to a cancellation and refund guide, but we did not establish a universal prorated refund from the materials inspected. Turning off future renewal, reclaiming the current subscription fee and closing an account with assets are different actions. Do not buy an annual plan on the assumption it can be undone after one month.

Early feedback, and who should use it

On 14 October 2026 the US App Store listing showed 4.0 out of 5 from just four ratings. One visible review described smooth USDC and ACH transfers; another contained an invitation code. This is too little evidence to identify recurring complaints or establish dependable support. We have not tested card acceptance, a withdrawal or account recovery ourselves.

Free is the sensible starting point if you already use supported stablecoins and the country-specific payment routes meet a real need. Consider Pro only after calculating the incremental rewards at your own spending and redemption pattern, or valuing a specific additional benefit. Skip it if you need a protected bank deposit, cannot identify the provider behind your balance, or would sign up solely for an unverified invitee bonus. Avoid increasing spending just to make a subscription look worthwhile.

FAQ

What does Y5ZWZ give me?
It is our supplied invite code. The invitation does not specify a fixed new-user reward; check acceptance and any current campaign conditions in the app.
Is Pro worthwhile at US$500 monthly spending?
Under ordinary rates and 100-Points-per-dollar redemption, its extra Points are worth US$7.50 versus Free, below the US$9.99 monthly fee. Merchant multipliers and temporary offers need a separate calculation.
Can I turn 1,000 Points into US$10?
A quarter or half refund costs 100 Points per dollar, provided you have a suitable eligible transaction. A full refund costs 125, so 1,000 Points would cover US$8 instead. Claims pay in USDC.
Is my dollar balance a bank deposit?
Not automatically. Read the exact feature's provider, underlying asset and protection disclosure; the USD display can represent a stablecoin or another supported balance.
Is card spending free in every currency?
No. Same-currency supported USD/EUR spending has no Pulsar FX fee, but a payment requiring conversion carries 1%. Outside fees can also apply.
Does October's promotion come with the invite code?
It is a separate Pro campaign paid in Points with its own eligibility and limits. The code invitation does not promise that reward.
Can I cancel Pro and recover the annual fee?
Check the live cancellation and refund guide before subscribing. This review has not verified a universal prorated refund; stopping renewal does not itself prove the current fee is refundable.
Has this review tested a live card payment?
No. It analyses official fees, terms and Points rules plus the small published ratings sample. Country support, verification and actual payment routes must be checked in your account.
